When Inés’s mother was pregnant, she had a recurring craving for the taste of the sea. This desire was best satisfied by the flavor of lanpernas, a local barnacle delicacy.

“I want to taste the sea,” she would tell her husband.  Given the urgency of her words, he would swiftly paddle his surfboard to where he knew he could find what his wife and unborn daughter were craving.  Whenever he could, he would bring back the taste of the sea for them both.

Due to this fortuitous upbringing, and her mother’s cravings during pregnancy, it is only logical that Inés has developed a deep love for nature and the ocean, which she expresses through her jewelry.
